About our Organization

The 77th Precinct Community Council serves as a vital bridge between the NYPD’s 77th Precinct and the Crown Heights community in Brooklyn, New York. Dedicated to improving public safety, trust, and quality of life, the Council fosters open communication, promotes community involvement, and strengthens police-community relations. Through monthly meetings, collaborative programs, and partnerships with organizations like Save Our Streets Crown Heights, Kings Against Violence Initiative, and the 77th Precinct United Clergy Council, the Council addresses issues such as Deed Theft, Violent Crimes, and Elderly Abuse. Guided by its commitment to advocacy, youth engagement, and community empowerment, the 77th Precinct Community Council works tirelessly to create a safer, stronger, and more united neighborhood.
